GMOD, battlefield, Medal of Honor

Hey people, sorry for the long wait for a post. I had to prepare for he exams. I did pretty well, passed my HCL and got 70 for CL! YEA! My dad bought me an ASUS laptop for gaming. It has pretty good specs. An ATI 856mb graphics card, 2gb RAM, Intel core2 Duo with 1.8ghz processing power. Playing all my games laglessly and beautifully.

GMOD
GMOD is short of Garrys Mod. Garry's Mod, or GMod for short, is a "sandbox" mod for the first-person shooter computer game Half-Life 2. It allows the player to manipulate objects and experiment with the physics, often with interesting results thanks to the Half-life 2physics engine. It allows me to pose ragdoll models, create contraptions, or death traps. There is also a large communtity which allows me download maps, models and SWeps (scripted weapons)

note: Ragdoll: Basically, a character model that is a limp, lifeless doll. It doesn't move or stand on its own, it's basically the "dead" version of the characters. To make them look as if they are living, they must be posed, which entails picking them up and locking them into place with the Garry's Mod physics tool (It's sort of like posing an action figure). You can also add facial expressions.

I downloaded a model pack for halo ragdolls and have been playing with it and created some nice screenshots. Which Ill upload later.
One of the sweps also allow me to create a nuclear explosion. Its fun but deadly to watch.

Battlefield 1942
Battlefield 1942 is an expansive first-person shooter (FPS), set in World War II.I usually play with bots servers are usually very laggy. Players are able to fly World War Two era fighter aircraft and bombers, navigate capital ships and aircraft carriers, man coastal defenses, drive tanks and jeeps, control stationary weapons, vehicles or just fight as one of five classes of infantry.
Each battle takes place on one of several maps located in a variety of places and famous battlefields in all of the major theaters of World War II: the Pacific, European, North African and Eastern Fronts. Its a really fun game especially when youre killing people with a tank. Yuo charge down the battlefield, machine gun blazing, cannon firing like mad at armor and infantry.

Battlefield Vietnam
Battlefield Vietnam has the same scoring system as Battlefield 1942. Its set in the Vietnam War now and has new equipments, vehicles and weapons. Tanks, helicopters, planes, pt boats, the like. Oh yea, theres nothing like spraying your squad automatic weapon at enemies

Medal of Honor Pacific Assault and Allied Assault.

Two very good games. Allied Assault game pits the player as Lt. Mike Powell, an agent for the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). Lt. Powell is sent through six missions in the North African and European theatre and is expected to complete multiple objectives on every mission. Col. Hargrove, Powell's mission commander, sends dossiers and important information on how to complete your mission every so often. Along the way Powell will frequently be helped by Allied forces, however most of the time he is on his own against the Germans.
Mission 1 takes place in the Algerian coastal town of Arzew, where Powell helps secure the beaches for Operation Torch as well as rescue SAS commando Major Jack Grillo.
In Mission 2, Powell goes to Norway to scuttle the U529, and destroy the NAXOS prototype, a device that would shift the balance of power in the Atlantic back to the Nazis. It should also be noted that Major Grillo meets his untimely end here, after letting Powell into the complex (shot dead by a sniper).
In Mission 3, Powell must survive Omaha Beach, and then go with Captain Ramsey to find US Paratroopers and assist in taking out a battery of Nebelwerfers.
In Mission 4, Powell goes behind enemy lines to gather intelligence on German infantry movements and gain information on the German's rumored "King Tiger Tank."
In Mission 5, Powell has to protect a team of Allied tank operators and steal a King Tiger, in order to seize a bridge to quicken the siege of the town of Brest, France.
In the 6th and final mission, Powell must go to Fort Schmerzen and destroy it. Schmerzen (pain in German) is a mustard gas facility.

Pacific Assault
Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault is a game developed by EA Games as part of the Medal of Honor series for the PC. This edition puts the player in the role of Pvt. (later Pfc. and Cpl.) Tommy Conlin, a U.S. Marine in the Pacific Theater of Operations in World War II. It also uses the Havok physics engine. Levels include Pearl Harbor, Makin Atoll, Guadalcanal, and Tarawa.

Well, I guess you're bored now. I can finally relax after SA2. School has been good so far. Not much to say. The counter's at 800. Gonna hit 1k soon. Maybe if I could post more, you would come more. LOL XD. I heard a lot of people failed maths. Joan did quite badly so she cant use the computer, lost freedom.

Church

Hey heys people,

Genghis invited me to his church yesterday for the Easter service and it was a blast. The church is called Heart of GOD church and the service there is great. Before going to the church, we met C4 met at Dohby Ghaut (pardon my spelling) MRT station. The people there are so friendly. Genghis introduced me to his group members and they were very friendly. When I talked to them, they kept saying,"You sound like Cheryl!" Then there were these two nice girls Ruoen and Eeru (nickname) who brought me around and introduced me to more people. When ever they introduced me, the people would say,"You sound like Cheryl!"
Then I would say "Who is Cheryl?!" Everyone would laugh.
Then, we left for the church. On the waty Eeru was chatting with me. A few minutes later, we reached the church. When we sang we sang with so much passion, people jumping up and down, clapping and stuff like that. After singing we had testimonials of people who had been touched by Jesus. Then the pastor told us about how Jesus died. Then after communion the service ended but we still stayed there. Eeru went through we me the basics of christianity. After that, I met Cheryl. We realised that we spoke acted and looked like each other. Which is kind of odd since she's 4 years my senior.Later, we went as a group of about 100 people to Clark Quay to eat dinner. We went to the foodcourt bought the food and went to the riverside to eat.

Since it was travis' birthday all 100+ of us sang him a birthday song. He loooked so shocked when we started singing. After that we played some very fun games and went home.
