Okay, to the Hekai who keeps telling me to update, I finally am. But, today its not going to be the BGR post. Haha wait a little longer. At the science centre now, Robotics competition, can't go back to Pei Hwa, sian.
Back on to business, today's post is going to be about one of the greatest things to see on Earth. A person's soul getting saved. Looking at the weekly attendance for church every Tuesday. Seeing the number of salvations every week. Seeing the guy in front of you raise his hand during the altar call. And just crying tears of joy as he prays the sinners prayer. Seeing the church grow week after week slowly and slowly. Seeing people go into the kingdom of heaven. That is the church. This is amazing times, amazing times indeed. This is the time of revival, this is the time where the world is turned upside down. We are history makers and world changers.

A taste of the past

Woke up at 5.30am today to pray and worship.
So refreshing.
Math paper today, I should be able to do well, because of God. Not through my strength but by Your might.
So as I checked my email, I decided to look into some of the old folders to decide whether I should clear them.
A shock awaited me.
As I looked through those folders, I found emails from as far back as Primary three, when I first opened my account. I thought all those emails had been deleted. I have emails from my days as a Nazi. I have emails from Sheng Chun, who you know, Shermane, you also know (implying something here) When Benjamin and I were good friends. Haiz... I miss Ben. Miss his spunk, miss his sarcasm, miss even the teasing.
Its amazing how God could use me back then. An insecure, crush filled, young, immature, 12-year old boy. Its amazing how God can use me to reach out. Now, after a year and a half of following Christ, I'm a different man. Now, a secure, mature (somewhat) young man. I don't need crushes or girlfriends yet. The love of Christ Jesus is enough now.

Yes this is a build up to my BGR post. As Pastor Joakim Lundqvist said, your mate should be found while on your walk with God. You'll see someone else walking next to you, at the same pace. Then you say,"Hey." Hahaha. Pastor Joakim is so funny. Swede. But he is right, don't actively look for a girlfriend, find her while walking with God. Pastor How says this, get a mate three years before you plan to get married. If you get one 10 years before, say 14, by 24 when you marry her, you already sian of her face, haha.
School now, 6.40am. Still hungry after breakfast.

He is mighty to save
Ah, how time flies. Its now the fourth of August.
In January, I prayed a short prayer for Ren Hao to come back to Singapore. Just that one short, simple prayer.
5 months later, he came back, for good. That was not the only miracle, after he came back, began a season of fervent prayer for him to come back to church.
Academic Excellence weekend came. Even after 2 months of failures, after passing him the Genesis of a Genius sermon Cd and the Connect magazine, he stepped into Heart of God Church for the third time.
We had moved mountains. By we I mean God. The mountain of parental objection was moved and he could come.
That day was better than how I dreamed it in the fourth dimension. God had answered.
I have this vision for everyone who steps into this church.
No matter what skills you have
How little you have to offer
You have the potential
through God to be a
LEADER OF HUNDREDS,
IN A CHURCH GROWING TO THE THOUSANDS
Oh, and by the way, Festival of Praise was awesome. Too bad for those who missed it.

Well, after a discussion with Wayne for a quarter of an hour (would be longer if he wasn't busy, I'm here posting.
I really thank God for Wayne, my leader.
He relates to me on so many levels. Such a wonderful leader. Been really communicating with him a lot. Being discipled so much, having my character forged and being put through the refining fire. Its wonderful to communicate with your leader so much. Been talking to him for half an hour daily. Amazing!

June holidays have come and gone, Strongholds are being broken. People are getting saved. The world is changing. Lives are changing.
This June, been really really busy. Was sick the entire first week so missed Zone F camp. Second week had BMT and Red Rain outings. Third week the same, getting discipled and graduated from BMT. Discipleship was intense. Really got out of my comfort zone. Inspired by Pastor Joakim's school seminar, caught the fire to go out to make some noise, love people and get them saved! I was convicted. I hadn't been loving people enough. I hadn't left my comfort zone to get people saved. What other point is there to life than to change others and adding to the Kingdom of Heaven. The great commission. Now, going out of my comfort zone, visiting people's houses, loving them so much. Letting the love of God pour out of me.
What this world needs,
is a Savior who will rescue
a Spirit who will lead
a Father who will love them in their time of need
That's what this world needs
Jesus is our Savior
That's what this world needs
A Father arms around you
Thats what this world needs
Who would have thought that when I first stepped into Heart of God Church. That I would be sleeping at 12am and waking up at 5.30am just working. But I am not tired at all.

I'm running this race with God. And even though it is tiring, I will run and not be faint. I will not burn out, for I lean on God and not on my own power. Living the life out of my comfort zone is so much more fulfilling than living safely in the comfort zone. Even though its easier to live in the comfort zone, it would be boring. Like my life before Christ. Just content with playing football in the Singapore under-12 national team and studying hard. It was a good life but there had to be more. There is more to this world. There is more to life. There is hope. There is a purpose.
Is there hope for every man?

Oh and all the poetic lyrics come from Casting Crowns, I did not write any of them. I would love to have such poetic skill though. But alas, we cant have everything.

Ok, 2.2k visits
Ok, when I started this blog 2 years ago, I never expected this.
My room's in a mess, I'm tired and hungry and loving every second of precious life God has given me.
I like to think of myself as a pioneer in blogging. First few to put music, hit counter and custom skins in blogs. (Well as far as I know) Hahas, 2 years later, back to the basics. Basic skin, simple music, hit counter still counting, and more posts.
Well, the stronghold is slowly crumbling. Still resisting a lot. Its kind of hard when you wake up thinking of it.

Tears have run from many waters

How was I to know that 5 short years later, I would be a SON not a servant of God serving in Heart of God Church, with Jesus in my heart and the Holy Spirit as my helper. How was I to know.

Fall on your knees and worship
Ok, I'm so filled with the Spirit now. I just finished my quiet time and well it was an isotonic drink. (if you get what I mean)
Ok, I just got healed!
I'm serious! Today, Dr Che Ahn came to preach about miraculous healing. After preaching the word, in a faith-filled atmosphere, he prayed for healing over the congregation. I closed my eyes, in faith that I could get 20-20 vision. After fervent and faith-filled prayer, I opened my eyes. My vision was....... the same. But, I thought to myself, "Why doesn't my back hurt anymore?" I realized I was standing straight effortlessly. Sharp people around me should notice that I am hunchbacked. Not anymore, I am totally healed! The tension in my back is gone. I can stand straight effortlessly.
Went on stage to testify. Daunting really. Saw so many other people on stage. All healed. So Dr Che Ahn prayed for me and I fell in the power of the Holy Spirit. The presence was so strong in the faith-filled atmosphere. Went off stage, continued worshipping. Sang another version of the old Hymn Amazing Grace. It was so apt. Amazing Grace healed me, saved me, my God, my Savior ransomed me.
Later, Dr Che Ahn's personal assistant prayed for my eyesight and I tell you it really is clearer than before! Worshipped, worshiped and worshiped. Just kept worshiping the King of Kings and Lord of Lord's, the almighty God. Then, I got prayed for again, and fell in the presence for the third time. The presence of God is just so awesome and indescribable. I'm just addicted. Its a drug.

Ahhh, the top one is a desktop background about Jo from Burst Angel, an anime I'm watching but more on that later. This took me like 6 hours to do.
The top one is a bunch of Ipod Negima pictures compiled together to form a desktop background. Negima is another anime and manga. Its by Ken Akamatsu, the genius who also drew Love Hina.
And the last one all the way at the bottom is an older picture I posed in Garrysmod 11. Its a scout running from Blu base with the Blu intel. Took me 3-4hrs to pose this picture.

Ren Hao
Mr Foo Ren Hao of Mongolian descent died on the spot on 6th June 2008 due to a powerful hit from Jolene Yeo. The hit could be heard a few blocks away.

Ren Hao is a very nice guy and my long time friend of about 8 years. He's not really Mongolian, he's a Singaporean/Malaysian its weird.

Anyway, been busy this second week! In church posting now, waiting for Ivan now for discipleship course. He seems to be late. Still waiting. Shawn is sitting next to me. Hi Shawn! BMT has started! w00t! No, for those unenlightened BMT is not Basic Millitary Training ( but give yourself 2 points cause 2 of the word are the same, but its out of 100 anyway, so you still fail! Failure! n00b!) BMT is in actual fact, drum roll please, Basic Ministry Training! Wheee! So its a mandatory training to join a ministry. For those further unenlightened (you really have to get out more) here is the wiki page for ministry. (I am not going to even bother to explain) Go read it. Okay, they don't have the page, so I have to explain it. Wikipedia, why has art thou failed me?! Okay Lets ask Shawn. He says he doesn't know. Thanks a lot Shawn! Notebook to the rescue! Ministry is basically serving God in Church.Yeah. Correct me if I'm wrong. Wiki says: activity by Christians to spread or express their faith. That seems like a good definition. Examples: Usher Ministry, Lights Ministry etc etc. Good enough for you unenlightened people.

I hate these kind of posts but I'm stressed for time.
How can I be stressed for time even after exams you might ask. I am not free! I am doing loads of stuff. Mostly playing games and reading though. I have quite a few "deep topics" lined up and a few rants....
