New Years Day!

Wooot! we are 3 hours away from 2007, if you're reading this on 1st january then happy new year! Not going to post about today, instead, I'm going to recollect (good) memories about this year and maybe say some other stuff.


This was a great year, won loads of awards for school and myself. Such as the silver award in the NJRC's open category, the merit award in the 2006 Singapore Sports Project, won 3rd in the annual football competition and even got selected for the Singapore under 12 national team. More surprising awards including national champs in the Inter School Sports Quiz (Tough thing to follow for next years JSLs), NJRC most bizzare robot (I still don't understand how I won that), most outstanding Junior Sports Leader (JSL), Most Outstanding Model Pupil Award and the EAGLES award for the second consecutive year. Woot. Good haul this year.


Oh yea, also contributed to school events. I invented and refreed in the P5 inter-class games and erm hosted the robotics room.


I had a really fun year this year. Why does it seem that every girl I talk to becomes my girlfriend? Haiz.... happens every year but its kinda fun being teased, it makes life interesting. I guess thats the fun of school life, looking forward to the new year. I guess I can talk to girlsjust as easily as talking to boys. I wonder why people find this odd? hmm....


My cousins are having a party now. Having loads of fun. I hope i get a year of happiess and good friends. Especially some of my good friends. I hope none of the girls minds getting if and when they get implicated. hahas. Hope i meet new friends.


Oh yea i just finished a series of manga. Here's the storyline, again from Wiki.


Set four years after the .hack games, the manga follows the adventures of a pair of twins--Rena and Shugo. After winning a contest, Rena is in possession of a pair of chibi avatars in the design of the legendary .hackers known as Kite and Black Rose. After an odd occurrence, Aura appears and gives Shugo the Twilight Bracelet.


I found the story nice but I missed the humor and awkwardness of love storys, triangles and scenes.

Now I'll post for today and yesterday.


First, yesterday. Mostly played with my cousin, Astro. We modified my game of "King of the Matress" into "King of the Matress : Shark attack (KOTM:SA)" The basic game of "King of the Matress" requires you to push everyone off the matress until you're the last one left. The mod "Shark Attack" is basically the same but in this mod you don't die if you get pushed off the matress until time is up and the "shark" comes. I know, I can think of lame games but I had nothing better to do with kittle resources. My grandma was furous when she saw he bed after that.


After my cousin Hermann was done with he computer, I cold finally continue with my Half-Life 2. It was a good day today, I completed 2 levels, "Anticitizen One" and "Follow Freeman". The first one requires me to lead the resistance forces throughout City 17. And the second one requires me to take out three combine generators and lead more rebels throughout the city, taking out a few striders on the way.


Then, since it was friday, my cousins came. Bryan and Ronald came first. We went to play some football downstairs with my friends, Genghis, Andy and Nathan. We played for about 1 and a half hours. It was very tiring with tall and skilful Andy being the best player there. I didn't have proper shoes so i didn't really play well.


Then, ate dinner and more cousins came. Darrell, Jolene, Jeanie, Terance came. Hermann and Jeanie both got their christmas presents. A Naruto PSP game for Hermann and a telescope for Jeanie. I gaped in awe when I saw a telescope. It was the real deal, not a child's toy telescope.


After that, we went to play some basketball downstairs. Actually, we played a mod of basketball. We played " Attacker and Defender " Another game modified by me. It offered a different kind of basketball, it involved more teamwork for the defenders. Then, we basically played around for the rest of the day.


The nest day, (today) woke up pretty late at abt 8.00, then slept until 8.30. (lazy today I know) Then went to eat noodles for breakfast. Went home, played more KOTM:SA with Astro. After that, played some HL2 and completed the game. My gravity gun was upgraded and could suck larger objects and people. It was fun using the gun to kill combine by suction.


After lunch, I went to the discovery centre to play with the Singapore's very own rifle the SAR 21. It looked like the STEYR AUG from Counter-Strike. It really looked a like. I tested the rifle (but it only shot laser rounds) on the simulator. Out of my 60 shots i killed 29 enemies. (nearly 2 shots per person) Which is pretty high compared to other people. Then, I went to the Science centre to view the iFuture exhibition. It was a cool exhibition.


well i guess I'm too tired to type anymore. Zzzzzzzz. gdnite.

Yesterday

Hi, I guess I didn't post yesterday, too sleepy to post. I woke up at abt 7.30 as always.




Played some HL2 (Half-Life 2) Finally completed level 9a "Entanglement" set in Nova Prospekt. I tried 5 times just to complete one part where I had to set up 3 turrrets and defend myself from the Combine soldiers.

They took me a while to kill and they kept knocking my turrets over.





Currently in the level "Anticitizen one" where I lead a massive

rebellion against the combine. A fun level. Especially the fun of ambushing Combines around City 17. The medics in my rebellion also can heal me.


I haven't fought against a strider yet. Striders are kind of like a walking tank. They are smart and tough. They carry a pulse gun, but also have a powerful dark energy weapon that warps the space around the strider when it fires, and is devastatingly powerful, capable of destroying buildings and killing anyone in a single shot. I'm hoping to fight them soon as they are the most powerful Combine war machine.





I watched Eragon after dinner. Not a bad show but a little boring. Eragon tells the tale of a farm boy named Eragon, living in the village Carvahall in the fictional and magical world of Alagaësia. At the age of seventeen, he finds a dragon egg. From the egg hatches a dragon named Saphira. Her arrival sets off a series of events that turn his life, and many other lives, upside down. Eragon decides to keep Saphira a secret. One day he finds his uncle dead and sets out on a journey to avenge him. I found the show ok but Lord of the Rings is still better.

What is the feeling of a kiss?

Hi all, I guess I've been wondering what does it feel like to be kissed. Man I'm feeling like Shinobu now. ...... Anyways, what does it feel like to be kissed by someone you like, (not your kin) What's the feeling like? Elation? Shock? Joy? Happiness? Surprise? A warm fuzzy feeling? What does it feel to be aound that person? Shy? Nervous? Increased heart rate? Does it feel nice? Why do you like the person? What is love? haiz.......


Anyway, back to my life. Today, well like yesterday, played more Half-Life 2. Sorry for the misinterpration yesterday, I still was at the level Sandtraps. I'm currently at the level Nova Prospekt, a prison. I'm using a weapon called a pheropod, takenfrom an antlion guard. It allows me to control an unlimited number of creatures called antlions. Their unlimited number and furrocious attack speed is useful in drawing fire away from me to take out the gun turrets. very useful indeed.

After that did some homework and then played more Half-Life 2, I used a cheat to unlock the last level and tried to play it but my com was way too laggy I gave up after half an hour. I hope i get more RAM for my com. Then, I watched some TV and took a nap.


Ok, ate dinner at about 6.30, then tried to find some mods for Half-Life 2. I found some but I couldn't get steam to show the game. darn, I was hoping to play some of them. Anyone know how to do it? send me an e-mail or tag. I hope i can complete Half-Life 2

And no, boxing day is not a day where you punch people, its the day after christmas day.


Today, woke up sleepily at 7.30. Played somemore Half-Life 2. I played the free level Lost Coast this time. Gave up after I got stuck. I've just read the guide, maybe I'll try again tomorrow. Oh yeah my computer is not fit for HL2. Hl2 requires 1000mb RAM and a high graphics card for me to fully appreciate it but alas mine is an old com with 756 RAM and a low quality graphics card. So Hl2 lags whenever there are moving vehicles which is quite often. I also can't get HDR lighting for Lost Coast. Currently at the level Nova Prospekt, which means a new prospective in polish I think. I just completed the level Sandtraps which really means its name, the level is set on antlion infested beaches which I feel is one of the toughest, second only to Ravenholm, a scary zombie infested town.

Breaking news! Chelsea drew with Reading with an own goal from Ashley Cole. Thanx! Yea! They dropped 2 points, Woot. All Man Utd need to do now is win it and they go 4 points (?) clear. Glory Glory Man Utd! Glory Glory Man Utd!


Didn't really do much today, an unusually short post.

Christmas day.

Today, Christmas day, finally. Cristmas Eve was a blast. I went to my cousin's Darell's house to celebrate Christmas. My friends Ming En and Shermane also gave me presents. Shermane gave me a hand-stitched bookmark and Ming En gave me a waterbottle. Thanx guys!


This year, we had a different Christmas celebration. First the children would write three things that they wanted on a piece of paper. At 12 midnite the adults would randomly choose two pieces, then interview the chldren on what they wanted most. Then they would select a present from the three. And by amazing coincidence I wrote Half-Life 2 and got Half-Life 2. And unlike the other cousins who had to wait to next week to get the present, I could just download it off Steam. Yay. I spent a few hours playing it this morning and I say it is the best game I've ever played. They add intriguing puzzles to a first person shooter. And like many other reviewers I give it a 10.

today. Saturday, The eve of the eve of christmas

My cousin Hermann stayed at my house today. He told me to wake him up today, so i used my phone as an alarm clock. today morning, when the alarm clock rang, i thought i was dreaming and i guess i slept somemore. Five minutes later, I finally realised that i wasn't dreaming and woke up. lol.


Today, I went for football training, had a horrible game. I played horribly. Let in two stupid goals. haiz. .....


In the evening, I went for a church musical, choreographed by my cousin Janelle. It was a cool musical, with very nice dance moves. It had some very nice songs. While singing the songs, I felt like I was back in school which is starting soon.


I'm watchin EPL (English Premier League) now. Manchester United vs Aston Villa. Its been a great match so far, both teams are playing very fast paced and exciting football. I hope Man United doesn't repea last week's lost to West Ham. They have o win to stay at th top of the league.

Fave character

Hi all. Today was pretty fun. 1st I went to a youtube video. It was about a boy who could memorise all 5o capitals of american states. I was shocked at the amount of americans who mistook an Indian for an arab and even more at the amount of racist comments. People even said hes going to bomb all 50 american capitals. I guess people like these are adding to the stereotype that americans are idiotic racists. I guess there were a lot of people saying that.

Oh yeah, today also seached youtube and google video for more Magister Negi Magi videos. My favourite character so far is Nodoka. A cute and shy girl. She has a crush on Negi and is very cute when she's around him. Lols. According to the manga, she should play a major role in the story.

Her magical artifact is the "Diarium Ejus", a diary that shows the thoughts of any person she speaks the name of. A humorous joke concerning her artifact is that her fantasies about Negi are also shown, including thoughts of French-kissing him. During the first day of the festival, she invited him to a date where she gained enough courage to kiss him a second time.




Oh yeah I need people to help me find out why i cant transfer videos into my phone. I can transfer but i only can hear the sound i cant see the video. Awwww.... Can anyone help me.

Hi all, I guess my blog URL may be a misnomer, I guess when you look back my life isnt so boring. Hahas. I guess today was like any other day. I watched the 1st version of Magister Negi Magi on google video (surprisingly). The videos I watched yesterday was the remake. These ones arent as funny but follows the manga closely.

Blaaaaaaaarg! (expression of anger. ) damned com is laggin! Blarrrrrgg! I guess i need more RAM. Haiz. Anyways if you're wondering where I got the word Blaaaarrrrg. I got it from the funny (but vulgar) Red vs Blue. A Halo 2 Machinima. (maybe incorrect spelling) A Machinima is where people make movies or shows by using a game engine such as Halo. In a machinima, people move the characters body while playing the game and filming it. For Machinimas just search "Halo funny" on Youtube.com. Machinimas are usually funny. My favourite is Red vs Blue.

Today

Woke up at abt 7 a.m. Lazed around for abit, then ate my breakfast. Ok this is getting boring. Hahas. moving on, watched some Halo Vids after that. K, skipping to some "interesting parts" After that watched Magister Negi Megi. Its an anime which rocks out loud!


Story:


Negi Springfield is a ten year old wizard from Wales who dreams of becoming a Magister Magorum (latin translation: teacher of magic), special wizards who use their powers to help normal people.





Negi's reason for becoming a Magister is to find his father, Nagi Springfield, the


legendary mage also known as the "Thousand Master" who many believe to be dead.




After graduating from the Merdiana Magic Academy in Wales, he is given a duty as a cover in the real world, and training, before he actually becomes a Magister Magorum. That duty is to become an English teacher at Mahora Academy in Japan. The task will not be easy, however, as Negi will become a teacher to a middle school class of 31 older girls, each very special in her own way. The series details his time and adventures in Japan as he gains acceptance and respect from his students, helps them in their problems, and faces magical threats from inside and outside Mahora Academy. For a ten year old, Negi is very mature and popular with nearly all his pupils (Nearly all of them have crushes on him). The most interesting part is pactio, where Negi can give his *partners* power to help him fight. For people to become partners, they will have to kiss Negi on his lips while standing in a magical circle (with odd reactons from the girls.) I feel the anime is much funnier than the manga, but the manga's story has more depth. I would recomend you guys to watch it. go to youtube and seach for "Negima episode 1".

K, after watchin those hillarious episodes I went to brush up my robot and try to program it.

The program had a few problems but the pump system for my robot is much more refined now.

After that i went to tuition. Not much to explain.



Then came home, ate dinner, and went to the library to complete the last activities for the holiday hmwk.



After that went home, watched more Negima, laughed somemore and then started writing this post. hahas.

K guys so the holidays have been pretty boring so far..... not much to do. The only way I've survived boredom so far is by Windows (MSN) Messenger and my trusty little gadget: The W850i Sony Ericsson Walkman Phone. My phone truly rocks! All except the text messaging size. Hahas. My 2gb mem card is half filled. So anyone with nice songs send me please! I'm listening to the Love Hina opening theme everyday. Its so addictive. Hahaz My favourite part is the last part:

Ok back to the subject. Went out of point there. I think Keisha (Frm Fa5) has it worse than me. (no offence) She is bored to the point that she SMSes me like everyday. Lol. But her messages are pretty funny and she amuses me with her odd remarks. At least she also keeps me out of dying frm boredom. (No one better get any funny ideas now)

Today was a boring day. Raining again so i couldnt go and play football. Awwww. Spent some time doing some Chinese hmwk. Completed building my gamerobot. Now to program. But I'm too lazy to program now. Hahas. Seriously, programming (With NXT expecially ) is hard and tiring. Non programmers may not understand but when you are programming its mostly trial and error and you can expect the robot to move in a totally different way than you thought. So I hope you understand why I dont want to program now.

Today I'm happy to announce that the blog has hit 200 ppl. I hope that all of u guys can continue visiting and I'll try to beat my cuz who has 2000+ ppl. (A hard task I know but I know u guys will continue visiting. Okz, Today I started on my Chinese Holiday hmwk. (Late I know.) I found some of the activities quite lame. I mostly had to draw. (I hate drawing) I did a few activites. I did'nt know how to do most. My Chinese SUX. I still have 7 more activities to do. Haiz... My English is doing much better, I have one last activity to do.




Guess i gotta start studying, PSLE nxt year. One year passes too quickly. This year was my best year in Pei Hwa, the first year where I (feel I) was really sociable. I talked to my friends more, interacted with them and won a few awards. Ms Lai was a great teacher too, even though most of my class complained that she was overly strict most of the time but she was right, dicipline is everything. Up till now I still can't figure out how I won the most bizzare robot award at the NJRC. ...Clueless...





Finally found an invention to build. I'm gonna build a game which asks the player to try and keep the "cart" on a see-saw for as long as possible. The see-saw is controlled by pneumatics (which is immensly difficult to control) and the pumping done by the RCX. Ok you guys may not understand half the things I've just said but when i finish it (if I finish it) I'll post a pic. The bad thing is that in order to build my invention, I need to destroy my beloved AWP/AWM. If you don't know whats an AWP/AWM its an Actic Warfare Magnum, FYI i did not come up with that name. I took 5 hours to build and refine and 5 minutes to rip. Awww. Really going to miss that Magnum. Hahas. I guess Hermann would be out of a weapon. lol.

Oh yea, Christmas is coming, I guess my three wishes for Christmas are:

Magic Show

Yesterday, another fun day! First went to football training. But instead of training we played 11v 11 games. Well, I had a quiet game, my defence was just too strong. I made a few good saves including a tip-over. Then went home and well modified my blog. After that went to a cool magic show. The tricks were like so damn cool lah. There was one where the a guy took the place of a guy standing on top of the box and the guy went in the box, the girl who was in the box went to somewhere else. It was like so damn cool! Its actually a musical performed by a church. A touching story.

Anyways I'm still wondering why nobody is online! Its the holidays. And well my holiday hmwk is not close to complete. hahas.

New skin

Hi all. Noticed i've changed skin. well obviously! hahas. Had a blast yesterday. Shermane, Ming En, Daniel and Ren Hao came. We played LF2 for the most part, but for some odd peculiar reason Shermane didn't want to play or sit down for that fact. At least she laughed though. Astro played with us too. We had an unusually noisy game of LF2. hahas.

After that they went home and i sent Ming En home. Then my Cousins came. Well only Terance, Jeanie, Jolene and Janelle came. I had a chat with Terance about the superior qualities of ericsson compared to Nokia.

Holidays habve been "productive" Halo Crazy now. Listening to "Halo: The Spartans" everyday at full blast. Gt loads of Halo songs to upload to my phone which BTW is a Sony Ericsson W810i. YAY walkman. The speakers are like earplugs it gives you the best music experience ever!

Not really touched my holiday hmwk yet. XD. find it kinda stupid.
